BUET exams shifted

Dhaka, June 24 (bdnews24.com) ? All the term final examinations of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) have been sifted for a week.

The decision was taken following a demand from the students, BUET vice-chancellor S M Nazrul Islam told bdnews24.com on Friday after an urgent meeting of the university authorities.

"Students sought a week's time because the exams fall immediately after their classes or class tests," he said.

Earlier on Thursday night, students demonstrated on the campus, demanding that their examinations be rescheduled.
