One killed in Rangamati

Rangamati, July 10 (bdnews24.com) -- Unidentified assailants have killed a middle-aged tribal man at Bilaichharhi upazila of the district after abduction.

Police said locals found the body of Karbari Nani Tanchanga, 50, of Sakkarchharhi on Sunday.

He was abducted earlier in the morning.

United People's of Democratic Front (UPDF) blamed the activists of the Santu Larma-led Parbatiya Chattagram Janasanghati Samity (PCJSS) for the murder, an allegation turned down by PCJSS.
