Govt allots land to Qatar embassy

Dhaka, July 13 (bdnews24.com) ? The government has allotted a piece of land in the city's Gulshan residential area to the Embassy of Qatar in Bangladesh at a token price.

A lease agreement was signed to this effect between the two sides at the ministry of housing and public works on Wednesday, ministry deputy secretary Tandra Sikder told bdnews24.com.

Qatar ambassador to Bangladesh Abdul Rahman U Al Molla and housing secretary Khandaker Shawkat Hosain signed the deal, she said.
