The High Court on Thursday asked authorities concerned to take measure for arresting all involved in making counterfeit notes in the country.
The High Court bench comprising Justice Bazlur Rahman and Justice M Enayetur Rahim passed the order following supplementary petition filed by Advocate Manzill Murshid seeking necessary order to stop the counterfeit notes.
It also asked the concerned investigation officer to submit probe report before it within seven days of the case filed in Motijeel Police Station earlier in this regard.
On March 14, one Sanwar Hossain filed a case with the Motijeel Police Station against some unidentified people who were involved in making counterfeit notes.
