Imran to act as interim coach of tigers
Sarwar Imran will act as the interim coach of Bangladesh cricket team before the new coach joins the squad, said Bangladesh Cricket Board director Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu on Wednesday.
Though Bangladesh are in advanced stage with appointing a foreign coach, it is all but sure that, he couldn't take the charge before the second week of July.
At the moment, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is waiting for the nod from Stuart Law, the interim coach of Sri Lanka. Law who is supposed to give the BCB a reply irrespective positive or negative in this week. But he is yet to give any response to the BCB's mail.
“Wait a bit. Very soon we'll let you know the progress, probably in the next week” said the BCB CEO Manjur Ahmed.
