Nasim slates Khaleda

Dhaka, July 18 (bdnews24.com)?A senior Awami League leader has slammed Khaleda Zia for her recent comment that she would throw away the constitution if back in power.

"Throwing away the constitution means she will throw away the country's independence, democracy, Bismillah and Bangladesh itself," Mohammad Nasim told a discussion at the Dhaka Reporters Unity on Monday.

"She'll have to apologise to the nation for such a comment," he said.
