Khaleda meeting professionals

Dhaka, June 18 (bdnews24.com) ? In her bid to build counter-pressure on the government, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has met a delegation of medical experts to discuss the state of affairs in the country.

The 30-member team, led by former advisor Prof M A Mazed, attended a discussion on the country's current political condition on Saturday at her office in Gulshan, Khaleda's press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan told bdnews24.com.

He said, "She discussed the current situation, caretaker government system, charter review and other issues with the team."

"She will hold similar discussions with various delegations of professionals in turn," he added.

Party's acting secretary general Mirza fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Khaleda's adviser Prof A Z M Jahid Hossain attended the discussion, among others.
