Fire in commercial building
Dhaka, June 17 (bdnews24.com) ? A fire erupted on the second floor of the four-storey Garrison Market in Cantonment area of the city on Friday evening.
Fireman Brajen Kumar Sarker told bdnews24.com that three units of fire brigade reached the spot and the flames were controlled after an hour's effort, he said.
The floor where the fire erupted also houses a branch of the Trust Bank, according to Sarker.
However, no casualty was reported.
The reason of the fire could not be established immediately and the damage assessment was being done when the reports last came in.
