Special kids' painting expo Friday

Dhaka, July 14 (bdnews24.com) ? Some 70 paintings of special children from various special schools will be exhibited at DRIK Gallery from Friday.

The special or autistic children and students' organisation HANS is organising the seven-day exhibition 'Emerged From Unknown III' at the gallery in the city's Dhanmondi area, and it will be open from 3pm to 8pm everyday.

HANS wants to inform people about autism and autistic children through the exhibition that they are not disabled but creative.

In this exhibition, to be organised in association with Surf Excel, the paintings would be put on sale and the money generated will be given to the boy or girl who painted them to stress the idea that the people neglected by the society can earn like others through their own talents.
