PM's DPS Nakib's contract cancelled

Dhaka, July 13 (bdnews24.com)?The contract with Prime minister's deputy press secretary Nakib Uddin Ahmed has been cancelled, following his request.

He was also withdrawn from his duties through an order from the public administration ministry on Wednesday. The order would come into effect on July 15, it added.

Nakib told bdnews24.com on Wednesday that he had applied to the authorities concerned on June 20 for discontinuation of the contract on 'personal grounds'.
