Announcement of team deferred

Dhaka, July 14 (bdnews24.com) ? Bangladesh team announcement for Zimbabwe tour awaits cricket board president's approval, says Akram Khan.

But the chief selector did not specify any other date to announce the team.

"We are working on it. We have sent the list of selected players to cricket board president A H M Mustafa Kamal and waiting for his approval," said chief selector Khan speaking with reporters in his office at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Minhajul Abedin Nannu and Habibul Bashar Sumon, the other selectors, accompanied Akram.

A 15-player team for Zimbabwe tour was supposed to be announced on July 14.
